How items move through Collection Services

  • Item can come to us via donation or acquisition
  • Acquisitions Manager receives item and passes them to catalogers directly or adds to the backlog
  • Cataloger retrieves item to catalog
  • Cataloger reviews the item and completes copy cataloging or original cataloging
  • Deliver to Labeler
  • Labeler makes sure item is physically ready for the shelf and the wayfinding metadata matches
  • Item is picked up by Access Services for shelving

We have two printers in the CS room.
If you have trouble accessing either of these, try turning them off/on.
